But my favorite ones is when you're watching a fight and the hero can't win, but you know he has a trick up his sleeve. Them kind of fights keep you in suspense. Like Gohan v Cell, I was scratching my head, wondering why Goku let him fight. I was waiting for something unexpected to happen, and it did.

I enjoy fights where it's more of martial arts than energy waves and fancy explosions. I guess I'm Hercule.
	darkwarrior has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it. Y2J Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****. ObsessiveFanGirl I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. Now, there's an idea.

It was a fairly equal battle, and the dialog throughout it was really great imo, mainly when Vegeta starts saying why he let Babidi take him over. And then later in the saga when it's revealed that Goku knew SSJ3 at the time and was holding back, that's just a total "Say whaaaaaaaat" addition to the fight lol Also Dabura VS Gohan, because it was one of the first times where I was legitimately thinking that Gohan was gonna get stomped (I had the pit feeling he would win the Cell games, but I was honestly thinking Dabura would kill him, or at least beat him badly).

The ones that are really close and really intense are awesome like Goku vs. Kid Buu, Goku vs. Cell, and Goku vs. Vegeta. But I also loved a lot of the one sided ass-whoopings like Gohan vs. Super Buu and Vegeta vs. Semi-Perfect Cell. But the ones that were my favorites were probably the ones that started out either really close or lopsided one way and then turned into smackdowns by the guy who was supposed to lose, like Gohan vs. Perfect Cell, and Goku vs. Frieza. And obviously piccolo vs. 17 is epic.

I plan on reading the original Dragon Ball manga from start to finish soon. Maybe I'll enjoy the fights in the original better.
